Add or Modify WFS Service

Add or Modify WFS Service

Add a new WFS service connection or edit an existing service while preserving the WFS workflow in the drawing.

Add a New WFS Service

  1. Open SPCAD Palette > Web Maps > WFS.
  2. Choose the option to add a WFS service.
  3. Enter the Service URL.
  4. Choose the WFS Version.
  5. Enable username/password authentication only when required by the server.
  6. Click Connect to load available feature types.
  7. Select one or more feature types.
  8. Set the feature limit and import options.
  9. Click Add to Drawing.

Modify an Existing Service

When modifying a WFS service, SPCAD can reopen the connection window using the existing service profile. This lets you update the service URL, credentials, selected feature types, maximum feature count, and import-related options.

Modify an existing WFS service

Model Space Rule

Run WFS service actions in Model Space.
SPCAD expects WFS service add and fetch operations to run in Model Space. If the drawing is in Paper Space, switch to Model Space and run the command again.
