Polygon Import Settings
Choose whether polygon features are imported as boundaries, centroids, or both, and optionally create hatch areas.
Import As
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Polygons | Creates polygon boundary geometry. |
| Only Centroids | Creates only centroid points for each polygon. |
| Polygons and Centroids | Creates both polygon boundaries and centroid points. |
Hatch the Areas
Enable Hatch the areas to create hatches inside imported polygons. Set the hatch pattern, angle, and scale before importing.
Hatch is disabled for centroid-only import.
If Only Centroids is selected, hatch creation is not applicable.Polygon Labels
When labels are enabled for polygon features, SPCAD places the label at the polygon centroid using the selected label field, text height, and label layer.
