Toolbar Buttons
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Map On / Off | When no map is active, this loads the selected background map. When a map is active, this removes the active background map session. |
| Refresh | Refreshes the active background map using the current model-space view. |
| Capture Image | Opens the Capture Image window for the selected background map. |
Option Switches
| Switch | Description |
|---|---|
| Auto refresh on pan / zoom | When enabled for the active session, SPCAD refreshes the map automatically when the view moves outside the current buffered raster coverage or when the user zooms in enough to require a higher level of detail. |
| Bring Background Image to Front | When off, the map stays behind drawing entities. When on, SPCAD moves the background image above drawing entities. |
Switches apply to the active session.
If no background map session is active, changing a switch does not update an existing map. Load a background map first, or turn the selected map on with the desired switch state.
Background Map List
The list displays available background map items with an icon, display name, and attribution text. Select one item before turning the map on or opening Capture Image.
You can also double-click a list item to load it directly.
Import OSM Vector Data Button
The bottom button starts the Import OSM Vector Data workflow. It sends the OSM import command to the CAD command line.
