Attributes
Choose which CAD properties and geometry values are written to the exported file.
Attribute Sections
The Attributes section controls the fields written to vector output formats. You can select all attributes, clear all attributes, or choose only the fields needed for the export.

| Block Data | Block name, block attributes, scale, and rotation. |
| Text Objects | Text contents, rotation, and text height. |
| Geometry | Elevation / Z, X, Y, length, and area. |
Field Guidance
- Include Layer when the receiving GIS needs to identify the source CAD layer.
- Include Handle when you need to trace exported features back to CAD objects.
- Include Block Data when exporting point features created from block references.
- Include Geometry fields when the output needs length, area, or coordinate values in attribute fields.
Attributes are optional.
You can export geometry without extra CAD attribute fields if the target file should contain only spatial features.
