Coordinate Transformation
Use the drawing CRS as the target CRS and control whether selected features are transformed during import.
Transform Features to Drawing CRS
The Transform features to drawing CRS checkbox controls whether SPCAD requests transformed coordinates for the selected layer. When enabled, source coordinates are transformed into the current drawing CRS.

| Source CRS | The CRS detected from the source file or layer. |
| Drawing CRS | The CRS assigned to the current drawing. |
| Arrow indicator | Shows the transformation direction, for example EPSG:4326 → EPSG:32643. |
When Transformation Is Not Available
The transformation checkbox may be unavailable when the source CRS or drawing CRS is unknown. In that case, assign or confirm the CRS information before importing.
Do not skip transformation unless the source already matches the drawing.
If source coordinates are in a different CRS and transformation is skipped, imported objects may be placed far from the project area.Drawing Units
When drawing unit information is stored with the CRS, SPCAD uses the unit-to-meter value during transformation so imported coordinates are returned in drawing units.
