Polyline Import Settings
Choose whether line features are imported as 2D or 3D polylines and configure layer, elevation, and label behavior.
Import As
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Polyline | Creates 2D polylines from line features. |
| 3D Polyline | Creates 3D polylines when elevation values are available or assigned. |
Layer and Elevation
Use Layer Properties to place imported polylines on a fixed drawing layer or derive layer names from a field. Use Set elevation from field when a numeric field should control the Z value.
Line / Polyline Labels
Polyline labels can be placed at the top, bottom, or center relative to the line. The Interval value controls repeated label spacing, and the Offset value controls label displacement from the line.
