Open the Export Command
Start the Export Geospatial Data command from the ribbon or command line.
Open from the Ribbon
- Open the drawing in the supported CAD platform.
- Go to the SPCAD ribbon.
- In the Spatial Data group, click Export.
- The Select Export Format window opens.
Open from the Command Line
Type EXPORTGEO_SP and press Enter.

The ribbon button and command-line command open the same export format picker and use the same export workflows.Initial Checks
When the command starts, SPCAD checks the license, drawing content, and drawing CRS before showing the format picker.
| Check | What Happens |
|---|---|
| License | If the export feature is not available, the command stops. |
| Drawing objects | If the drawing has no model-space objects, SPCAD displays a No Drawing Objects Found message. |
| Drawing CRS | If no CRS is assigned, SPCAD asks the user to assign one before exporting. |
