Overview
KMZ export writes CAD drawing data to .kmz output.
KMZ uses the same vector options as KML, but packages the result as a compressed KMZ file.

Use the KML / KMZ Export Options page for block export mode, CAD style restoration, extended data, HTML description tables, closed curves as polygons, extension to ground, and altitude mode.Steps
- Run
EXPORTGEO_SPor click Spatial Data > Export. - Select KMZ in the Select Export Format window.
- Complete the format-specific options window.
- Choose the output path when prompted.
- Wait for the progress window to finish.
- Open the output in the target application and review the exported data.
Best Practices
- Confirm the drawing CRS before export.
- Use layer-based selection when layers already represent logical GIS layers.
- Keep only the required object types enabled.
- Use the curve approximation step carefully for curved geometry.
- Review the exported file in the receiving application before delivery.
