Layer Selection

Select the layers or feature classes to import and review their feature counts before creating CAD entities.

Layers / Feature Classes Panel

The left side of the import window lists all spatial layers found in the selected source. Each row shows a checkbox, layer name, geometry type, and feature count.

After selecting a layer, review its import mode, hatch, layer, and elevation settings before importing.
ControlPurpose
Layer checkboxInclude or exclude a layer from the import.
Select AllSelects all available layers.
Clear SelectionClears all layer selections.
Layer rowSelects the active layer so its settings can be edited on the right side.
Footer summaryShows the total selected feature count across selected layers.

Recommended Layer Workflow

  1. Select only the layers you need.
  2. Click each selected layer and review the geometry settings.
  3. Set layer, elevation, label, and output options for each layer.
  4. Use Copy current options to all layers only when the same options are suitable for the remaining layers.
  5. Click OK after confirming the selected layer count.

No Layers Selected

The OK action requires at least one selected layer. If all checkboxes are cleared, select at least one layer before continuing.
