Import GML
Import GML feature data into the current drawing using the correct GML source workflow.
Overview
GML files can contain points, lines, polygons, and attributes. Use the ordinary GML file filter for non-CityGML data.
GML and CityGML can both use .gml.
Choose GML for standard GML datasets and CityGML for building or city-model datasets.Import Steps
- Run
IMPORTGEO_SP. - Select File.
- In the file picker, choose the GML filter.
- Select the GML file and click OK.
- Review the detected layers and configure transformation, output, and geometry options.
- Click OK to import.
Recommended Settings
Keep transformation enabled when the GML CRS differs from the drawing CRS. Enable Data Table Manager output when feature attributes should be retained.
