Open the Import Command
Open the geospatial import workflow from the SPCAD ribbon or from the command line.
Open from the Ribbon
- Open the drawing where the data will be imported.
- Go to the SPCAD ribbon.
- Find the Spatial Data group.
- Click Import.
The Import and Export commands are located in the Spatial Data group; click Import to start the geospatial import workflow.
Open from the Command Line
Type the following command and press Enter:
IMPORTGEO_SP
The Select Geospatial Source window opens after the license and CRS checks are completed.
What Happens Next
SPCAD checks the active drawing and confirms that a coordinate system is assigned. If the drawing has no CRS, the import does not continue until a CRS is assigned.
