Some geospatial formats use their own dedicated import dialog or behavior. Use the pages in this section for format-specific steps and settings.
Overview
Most vector formats use the same general Import Geospatial Data window covered earlier in this section. A few formats need their own workflow because of how they store layers, surfaces, or feature types. This section covers each of those formats individually.

Standard Vector Formats
Shapefile, GeoPackage, File Geodatabase, GPX, GeoJSON, SQLite/DB, MapInfo TAB/MIF, and GML all use the general import window with format-specific notes.
Special Workflows
KML/KMZ, CityGML, CSV/TXT points, XYZ points, and raster images use a dedicated dialog or additional settings not found in the general import window.
