Import SQLite / DB
Import spatial layers from SQLite-based database files.
Overview
Supported source: .sqlite, .sqlite3, .db
SQLite databases may contain multiple layers. Only spatial layers found in the source are listed for import.
Import Steps
- Run
IMPORTGEO_SPor click Spatial Data > Import. - Select File unless this is a File Geodatabase folder.
- Browse to the source and click OK.
- Select the database file, choose the required layers, and configure options per layer.
- Click OK to import the selected features.
Recommended Settings
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Transform features to drawing CRS | Keep enabled when the source CRS differs from the drawing CRS. |
| Create table in Data Table Manager | Enable when source attributes should be preserved for query, review, or reporting. |
| Layer Properties | Use a fixed drawing layer for simple imports, or From field when the source attributes contain layer names. |
