Overview
Divide a lot into parcels based on a specified distance along the cutting edge. The user selects a lot and an already drawn cutting edge to create the parcels. Ensure that a coordinate system to the drawing. This assignment is crucial for tasks such as area measurement, annotation, and exporting parcels to KML and shapefile.
1- BY EQUAL PARTS

- Click on Lot Division, go to the dropdown, and click on ‘Distance Along Cutting Edge’ from the Cadaster panel or type DDF_SP in the command line.
Note: Cutting Edge should already be drawn.

- Select a lot and then select Cutting Edge.

- A Dialogue Box will appear.
Specify the number of Equal parts you want your lot to have. This will divide the cutting edge into equal numbers of parcels, given in the box.
For example, in the above image, we divided our lot into equal parts.
The total Length of the Cutting Polyline is 620.836.
When Equally Divided into 8 parts, each measuring 77.60.

- Click OK.
2- BY DISTANCE

- Click on “Lot Division” in the dropdown menu and select “Distance Along Cutting Edge” from the Cadaster panel or type “DDF_SP” in the command line.
Note: Ensure that the Cutting Edge has already been drawn. - Choose a lot and then select the Cutting Edge.
- A Dialogue Box will appear. Select “By Distance”.
- Enter the desired distance you want the total length of the cutting edge to be divided into. Depending on the total length of the cutting edge, the entered distance will determine the divisions. Any remainder from the division process will be adjusted as a separate parcel at the far end of the lot.
For example, in the image above, where the total length of the cutting edge is 620.836 and the specified distance is 120, equal parcels of 120 will be created, resulting in 5 parcels. Any leftover area, in this case 20, will be adjusted as a separate parcel at the far end of the lot.

- Click OK.
3- BY LIST

- Click on “Lot Division” in the dropdown menu and select “Distance Along Cutting Edge” from the Cadaster panel or type “DDF_SP” in the command line.
Note: Ensure that the Cutting Edge has already been drawn. - Choose a lot and then select the Cutting Edge.
- A Dialogue Box will appear. Select “By List”.
- Specify parcel divisions by providing a list of desired distances along the cutting edge. You can add entries, delete, rearrange, or invert within the list interface.
Note: The sum of the areas you provided must match the Listed Area. Do not exceed this total.
For example, in the image above, we added 4 unique entries. When you add up these areas, the total should exactly match the Listed Area. This ensures that all the plots collectively fit within the specified total area.

- Click OK
