Purpose and Utility<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Label Polyline With Table<\/strong> tool lets you annotate a closed polyline with area, perimeter, linear and angular dimensions, vertex coordinates, and a complete construction table \u2014 all with customizable precision and styling. It is highly useful for cadastral mapping<\/strong>, site planning<\/strong>, plot summaries<\/strong>, and technical reporting<\/strong> in CAD environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool ensures that both graphical labels<\/strong> and a data table<\/strong> are inserted into the drawing for clear communication of boundary information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technical Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The dialog box is divided into four main groups:<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Table Scale<\/strong>: Controls the overall scale of the inserted table<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  • Show Area \/ Show Perimeter<\/strong>: Displays calculated values above the table<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Linear Dimensions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    • Dimension Precision<\/strong>: Decimal precision of line lengths<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Create Linear Dimensions<\/strong>: Adds distance labels between vertices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Workflow<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          1. Launch the tool<\/strong>\n

            • Type LBLUTM_SP or access it via Cartography \u2192 Labels<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Configure settings in the dialog box<\/strong>\n

              • Enable the desired checkboxes: area, perimeter, dimensions, vertex labels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Adjust scale, precision, text height, and radii as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Click OK<\/strong> to confirm your settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Select a closed polyline<\/strong>\n

                • The tool only supports closed loops<\/strong> (like plots or boundaries)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Specify the point to place the table<\/strong>\n

                  • Click anywhere in the drawing to insert the summary table<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    Output Table Description<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                    After selection, the tool generates a Construction Table<\/strong> along with area and perimeter labels. The structure of the table typically includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Column<\/strong><\/td>Description<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
                    Vertex<\/strong><\/td>Labeled as P1, P2, etc.<\/td><\/tr>
                    Side<\/strong><\/td>Represents segments (e.g., P1\u2013P2)<\/td><\/tr>
                    Dist.<\/strong><\/td>Distance between two points<\/td><\/tr>
                    Angle<\/strong><\/td>Internal angles (DMS format)<\/td><\/tr>
                    Easting \/ Northing<\/strong><\/td>Coordinates of each vertex<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

                    Additional information (above the table):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
